Sandy and the Pink Ladies leader Betty Rizzo with her other Grease Pink Ladies Frenchy, Jan and Marty who were interested in Danny from the grease movie and buddies. In the beginning Sandy was an initiate because she was "too pure to be pink" according to Betty Rizzo.

Sandy did becomes a cheerleader at first, one costume idea, then after learning to trust Danny she becomes a tough girl, a second costume idea you could go with thats shown below in one of the movie scenes.
